About the contribution you make to the team:
Manages, mentors & coordinates activities for Engineering Team. Works independently & with his/her team in the design & development of equipment required to meet customer’s needs or market demands. Develops engineering documentation, design, calculations, for drawings, schematic drawings, material specification, test documentation or other required data. Assists or conducts problem studies leading to recommendations for upgrading/improving existing equipment in field or lab environment. Under general supervision, perform product testing functions in a test lab facility and/or field location. Completes projects as assigned.



BS in Mechanical Engineering Required, Master Degree is preferred. Focus on stress analysis and mechanism design.

5+ years of experience in design, product development, design for manufacturing, support of a manufacturing facility (onsite),
5+ years, Design of cranes, winches, heave compensators (preferred)
5+ years, Mil Specs. experience (preferred)
5+ years, Welding procedure development and qualification experience, (steel, aluminum, nickel, stainless alloys, AWS, NAVSEA) (preferred)
5+ years, DNV, ABS standards and certifications experience, (required)
5+ years, Heavy equipment design (required)
5+ years of manufacturing facility engineering design / support experiencea
Experience in offshore Launch and Recovery Systems and other handling systems preferred
