Forum B+V Oil Tools

The history of Forum B+V Oil Tools began over 45 years ago with the simple idea of forging Elevator Links at a blacksmith shop in Hamburg, Germany. Manufacturing Pipe Handling Tools started to be a lucrative business for the shipyard, so Blohm + Voss enlarged its product range step by step over the years.

On July 1, 2013, Blohm + Voss Oil Tools became a part of Forum Energy Technologies and was ultimately rebranded as Forum B+V Oil Tools. FET manufactures handling tools built upon the legacy of the Blohm + Voss Oil Tools brand within our Drilling product line.

The FET Drilling product line has customers throughout the whole world with a focus of on international & local drilling contractors, service and rental companies, onshore rig builders, and first-class shipyards. FET Drilling is steadily developing new markets worldwide and enlarging its market position rapidly.
