Cast Stainless and High Alloy Cryogenic Valves
Applications involving liquefied natural gas (LNG) and other low-temperature fluids demand specialized valve solutions due to the extreme cold conditions. DSI gate, globe, and check valves are engineered explicitly for cryogenic service, ensuring reliable performance in these challenging environments.
These valves are constructed using carefully selected body and trim materials that provide:

A key design feature is the extended bonnet and gas column, which insulates the stem seal and packing area. This design places the stem seal in the vapor zone of the liquid media ensuring safe, continuous operation even at cryogenic temperatures.
A wide range of body, trim, seat, and seal materials is available to meet diverse application needs. Customer-specified options—such as body cavity vent holes, custom extension lengths, and Kel-F components—can be provided upon request.
