Gas Lift: Smart, Efficient, and Built for Versatility

Gas Lift is one of the most cost-effective and flexible artificial lift methods available, as it injects gas into the wellbore to lighten the fluid column and lift liquids to the surface with ease.

With low operating costs, minimal downhole equipment, and quick, straightforward repairs, the gas lift is a go-to solution for many operators seeking to boost production without incurring significant expenses.

Two Types, One Goal: Efficient Production

  • Continuous Gas Lift System: Ideal for a wide range of well conditions, this method injects gas steadily to maintain flow. In a standard setup, gas is injected through valves that regulate flow and pressure, propelling oil to the surface efficiently.
  • Intermittent Gas Lift: Perfect for low-pressure or marginal wells, this method injects gas in cycles, pushing slugs of fluid to the surface. It’s often used in the later stages of a well’s life when other lift methods become less effective.

As wells mature and gas lift becomes less economical, operators often transition to rod pumps or electrical submersible pumps (ESPs) to maintain production.
