PCE Recertification, Inspection, and Repair

Our team of technicians is always ready for deployment worldwide in case of any requirement. We have collaborated strategically with authorized vendors worldwide for significant maintenance and recertification. These facilities ensure that recertification is conducted under direct OEM monitoring and that all equipment undergoes an OEM inspection before issuing a Letter of Conformance.
API RP 16ST
As stipulated in API RP 16ST, it is mandatory to conduct recertification of all Pressure Control Equipment every five years. With the industry embracing this recommended practice, we reaffirm our commitment to assist with all your recertification requirements, ensuring full compliance with the standards.
Level I – Pressure Testing
- Outline scope of work with the customer.
- Perform Diagnostic Testing to confirm functionality and identify issues.
- Conduct visual inspection and evaluation; disassemble as needed.
- Generate and present a report of findings.
- Upon approval, conduct function and pressure testing.
- Optional paint touch-ups.
- Issue new Pressure Testing Certificate.
Level II – Annual Inspection
- Initial pressure test, complete disassembly, and thorough cleaning.
- Visual evaluation for wear, damage, or corrosion.
- Dimensional inspection of non-compliant parts.
- Issue detailed reports with findings, recommended repairs, and estimates.
- Replace rubber consumable and perform repairs.
- Conduct final pressure and function testing.
- Standard touch-up paint; premium paint available with sandblasting, primer, and dual coat.
- Issue new Pressure Testing Certificate.
Level III – Three (3)- or Five (5)- Year Recertification
- Initial pressure test.
- Complete disassembly, sandblasting, degassing, and cleaning.
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and NDT inspection per FET standard specifications.
- Provide detailed reports with recommended replacements or repairs and estimates.
- Replace rubber consumables and perform necessary repairs.
- Degas BOP body and recoat cavity.
- Reassemble equipment, repaint, conduct final pressure and function testing.
- Issue new Certificate of Conformance & Databook.
